Some people like Disneyland. I have been obsessed with it since before it was practical.

I grew up in the Central Valley and used to drive there and back in the same day just because I needed to be there. No hotel, no slow morning, just the park, the churros, and the drive home with sore feet and a full heart.

When I got married and we started going together, it became something different. Still my favorite place, but now it was ours. And when our son was finally old enough for the road trip, it became something bigger than that. A tradition. The kind of trip where you already know what you are ordering and which ride you are running to first.

We had annual passes for a while. We went more times in a year than I will admit out loud. And then life got busy, a new baby arrived, and for now Disney is on pause, which is genuinely a little sad.

Core Memory Club started because my husband makes apparel and I finally said out loud what I had been thinking for a while: we should do Disney. So now we do. He makes them, I have opinions about everything, and together we are building something for the people who get it.

The ones who plan trips around the snack lineup. Who quote the rides without thinking. Who feel it the second they walk through those gates.
